1. Who can use Search Ghana

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when registering. Accounts found to contain false information may be suspended.

2. Listings

Landlords, landladies, estate owners, property managers, and registered agents may list property. Every listing is reviewed by our Verification team before it becomes publicly visible. We may reject or remove a listing that is inaccurate, duplicated, or violates these terms.

3. Bookings and payments

When a tenant books a property, payment is collected through Paystack and held in escrow by Search Ghana — it is not paid directly to the landlord or agent. Funds are released to the landlord (and agent commission, where applicable) after the tenant confirms move-in and a short waiting period passes, unless a dispute is raised. 4. Fees

A platform commission is deducted from the landlord's payout, and a tenant service fee is charged on top of rent at booking. Current rates are shown at checkout before you pay. See our Commission Policy.

5. Prohibited conduct

Do not list property you don't have the right to rent, submit fraudulent identity or payment information, attempt to bypass escrow by arranging payment outside the platform, or harass other users.

6. Account suspension

We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent listings, or are flagged by our fraud-prevention checks.

7. Limitation of liability

Search Ghana verifies listings and holds funds in escrow to reduce risk, but we do not guarantee the condition of any property or the conduct of any user. Always inspect a property (in person or via the photos/details provided) before confirming move-in.
