Search Ghana was built to solve a problem familiar to anyone who has searched for a room in Ghana, especially in the north: landlords are reluctant to rent to strangers, tenants spend weeks searching without a reliable directory, and there's no safe way for money to change hands before both sides trust each other.
We fix that with three things:
- Verification. Every listing is checked by our team before it goes live — no anonymous, unverified rooms.
- Escrow. Rent doesn't go straight to a landlord's pocket. It's held by Search Ghana until the tenant confirms they've actually moved in and everything matches the listing.
- A real marketplace. Search by region, town, price, and amenities across every property type from a single room to a full estate.
Search Ghana was founded by Tuurosung Joseph and is based in Navrongo, Upper East Region, with the goal of becoming Ghana's most trusted property platform — starting in the north and expanding nationwide.
