Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), and role (tenant, landlord, agent, etc.)
- Payout data: for landlords and agents, a Mobile Money number used to receive escrow payouts.
- Listing data: anything you submit when creating a property listing, including photos.
- Transaction data: payments made through Paystack, including amounts and status — we do not store your Mobile Money PIN or card details; those are handled directly by Paystack.
- Usage data: pages viewed, listings favorited, and basic device/browser information for security and fraud prevention.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace: matching tenants with listings, processing escrow payments, verifying listings, sending booking and payment notifications, and responding to support requests.
Who we share it with
- Paystack, to process payments and payouts.
- The other party to a booking — a tenant and landlord/agent can see each other's name and phone number once a booking is made, so they can coordinate move-in.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your rights
You can review and update your profile information at any time from your account settings, and can request account deletion by contacting us.
