Commission Policy

Search Ghana takes a percentage-based commission from the landlord's share of the rent when escrow is released. If a property was listed by a registered agent, an additional agent commission is deducted from the same pool, so the agent is paid automatically without the landlord needing to pay them separately.

Current commission rates are set by Search Ghana and may be adjusted from time to time; the rate that applies to a given booking is the one in effect when that booking's escrow hold is created. Tenants also pay a separate service fee at checkout, shown before payment — this is not a commission on the landlord's rent, it's a platform fee paid by the tenant.
